How the structure works

One supply chain, responsibilities at both ends

Egyptian sourcing side

The Egyptian side coordinates with farms and packing partners, confirms the agreed product specification, and helps ensure the final lot is inspected for quality and prepared under the transport conditions required for the route.

Dutch commercial side

The Dutch side develops buyer relationships, translates market requirements into clear sourcing instructions, and supports dependable regional distribution relationships after the produce leaves Egypt.

Our role is to bridge the information gap between the importer and the supplying farms before it becomes a specification, quality, timing, or claims problem.

Our founder story

Why Quality Zone was built across Egypt and the Netherlands

The produce business began in February 2026, built on 30 years of combined work experience across the MENA region accumulated by Abdelrahman Gad and Megahed Amin.

When did the produce business begin?

Quality Zone’s produce activity began in February 2026. It brought together the founders’ combined 30 years of MENA experience in commercial relationships, operations, and cross-border business.

Why Egypt?

Both founders are Egyptian. They saw a gap between the quality and capability available at origin and the way Egyptian fruit and vegetables were explained, specified, and sold abroad. Quality Zone was created to help close that gap.

Why is the Netherlands part of the structure?

The Netherlands is a crucial commercial and distribution link after produce leaves Egypt. Its established fresh-produce ecosystem and regional connections support dependable access to buyers and onward European distribution.

What gap did European importers and Egyptian farms face?

Importers often struggled to reach someone who understood how Egyptian farms operate, while farms did not always receive the importer’s requirements in precise, usable language. Quality Zone bridges that two-way gap before an order is packed and shipped.

What does the Egyptian side do?

It coordinates origin-side execution: communication with farms and packing partners, confirmation of the agreed specification, final-lot quality checks, and verification that packing and transport preparation match the product and route.

What does the Dutch side do?

It develops client relationships, clarifies buyer expectations, and builds the commercial and distribution connections needed to grow Quality Zone’s ambition: becoming a leading bridge for Egyptian fruit and vegetables from the Netherlands to international markets.
